The simplest way I can explain it is you gotta buy and upgrade with the same dealer. I only know one person that got theirs through allocation and they have bought like 7 cars from the dealer and traded them all back in when they went in to upgrade. Here in the UK anyway, a prospective order for a GT car has to be approved by the Dealer Principle and justification given to Porsche HQ. My OPC had an allocation for 2 GT4RS. 1 went to a customer who had already had 5 Porsches from them and the other went to the Dealer Principle.
